Dreams are Coming True in December

Loveland, CO (December 1, 2011) – A Child’s Dream announces two dreams coming true for local children during the month of December.

David, a young man from Greeley, will be receiving his dream of going to see his hero, Tom Brady, play football on December 18.  We will be telling him his dream is coming true on Wednesday, December 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Greeley off of 1st Street.

Emily, a little girl from Wellington, will be receiving her dream of going to Disneyland on December 22-26, 2011.  A notification for her is scheduled for Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 a.m. at Wellington Middle School.

“We are excited to end the year with these two great dreams coming true,” said Katie Reiff, Executive Director of A Child’s Dream.  “The holidays can be a tough time for children who are suffering from illnesses or low income.  We enjoy being the agency that takes some of the burden off of families to make incredible memories for deserving children.”

A Child’s Dream was founded to grant dreams to children and youth who are terminally or chronically ill, injured or low income in Larimer County.  We recognize there are many children, due to physical limitations or financial struggles, who are never exposed to opportunities to help them see the hope and possibility that exists in the world and our community.  By granting dreams to children and youth, A Child’s Dream provides them with opportunities they may not otherwise receive.  Our mission is to make children’s dreams come true.
