Pacific Nights Luau Raises Money for Macdonald Family Charity

The Fort Collins Sports and Social Club just completed their first Pacific Nights Luau which raised about $6000 for Macdonald Family Charity.  The Charity also had an anonymous donor willing to match them $5000, so the event raised upwards of $11000!  The luau went to support the charity and their mission of granting dreams to children and youth who are struggling through economic or physical struggles and live in northern Colorado.  The main beneficiaries of this fundraiser were two girls, Aryanna and Ciara, who were granted their dream of attending horse camp.  Aryanna and Ciara love horses, but their mom doesn't have the resources to be able to send them to do all of the things they would like to during the summer.  Macdonald Family Charity got the girls hats, boots, shirts, belts, and duffel bags for their time at camp.  They will have an amazing time, thanks to all of the great fundraising that that Fort Collins Sports and Social Club did for the charity.  Be sure to get your tickets early for the tentatively planned second Pacific Nights Luau for July 16, 2010!
