Macdonald Family Charity Hires First Executive Director

LOVELAND – Macdonald Family Charity is excited to announce the hire of their first Executive Director, Katie Bowers Reiff of Windsor.

Reiff received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa in August of 2006. She has been working in northern Colorado ever since and is looking forward to moving into the non-profit sector with the charity.

Her duties will include working with the Board of Directors with a special emphasis in fundraising and event planning for the charity. Increasing exposure and applicants will also be a part of her responsibilities.

Macdonald Family Charity was founded to grant dreams to children and youth between the ages of 2 and 18 years old in northern Colorado who are terminally or chronically ill, injured in an accident, living in a foster care environment or from a family with low income. The children and youth must be U.S. citizens and reside in Larimer or Weld counties of northern Colorado. The charity is proud to serve a wide range of children in the area.

The charity is currently seeking applicants for the current enrollment period, and anyone interested can get more information by calling Katie at (970)667-6119. Applications may be downloaded at www.macdonaldfamilycharity.org.
